It was a stormy night with heavy rain and strong winds that occurred in one of the outskirts of New York City, just a few hours before the peculiar labor happened. Tiana was pregnant with a child whom she bore after getting raped by several white men that attacked her when she got home late after a night shift work. The labor took place in her small rusty apartment accompanied by her sister, Jenna, waiting for the baby to come out of her. It took hours of unimaginable pain and restrained screams before the baby’s arrival. Upon the arrival, Tiana looked at her baby proudly and gave him a long warm hug for the last time before she left the world eternally. The mishandled blood loss was the cause of her death.
After her passing, a well-known billionaire Sir Horatio Adler took the newborn under his care and raised him in a house with the other special children. The children were each given a caretaker that will be responsible for the child's growth and the child itself. The caretaker that was given to this very boy who was born on October 17 gave the boy a name, Jeremiah.
Jeremiah grew up along with his 30 other siblings in the house, and every each one of them are obligated to study and train to find their hidden ability until it emerges from within them. Jeremiah is blessed with an ability which allows him to lift himself and have power over his body to move and/or glide in the air.
The children were kept locked from the public until their age reached 18, when it is mature enough for the children to think rationally and not cause a catastrophic inconvenience that would give threats to the whole academy. The children were allowed to blend with the society and do what they are keen on, bestowing them with a bless that we are used to recognize as freedom. Some of the children seperated from each other, and some decided to live together, Jem chose not to do anything out of the ordinary. He applied to a barista coaching course and spent a year to get the certificate and is now working as a barista in a local coffee shop owned independently by who was once his barista coach.

Jeremiah, Jem or Jerry for short, has a gleeful trait that appears as a distinct charm surrounding his very presence. Jem is capable of socializing for he has no boundaries at making friends and is not afraid to experience anything, the world is a playground for anyone who dares to take risks.
The impact of living under the same roof with 30 other children that were born in October 1995 is not knowing the warmth of a mother, although a caretaker was given, and considering that all of the children including him were raised with a rather meticulous method by Sir Horatio and his associates, it also affects the children psychologically.
Jem also has a low tolerance for people who need him, rejecting favors is not something that he would have done. That includes the nature of agreeing to anything his brothers and sisters' request.
Jem has the tendencies to want to be regarded as a special individual to the people whom he loves, which justifies the individual trait that he has, that he makes joy out of pleasing other people. This concludes that he is so very afraid to be left out by his family.
